It is the mission of the administration, faculty, staff, parents and community to provide the best possible educational experience for all of our students. Our goal is to produce academically, emotionally, and physically strong productive members of our society. We are a dedicated staff and continuously strive for excellence in our instruction and organization of the school day.
Our current enrollment is 243 with 3 kindergarten classes, 3 first grade classes, 2 second grade classes and 3 third grade classes.
Each student grades K-3 receive special instruction from our enrichment instructor, librarian, and computer instructor. Each student is encouraged to read daily and participate in our accelerated reading program. We have seen an increase in their love of reading due to these programs and are very proud of student progress.
Mary Reid Elementary provides an inclusive environment for those students with special needs in the regular classroom. Special services are provided for those students with learning disabilities, speech difficulties and other areas of exceptionalities.
Music and P.E. are also provided for all students.
